Lots of contrast here between the black colors on you and the green backround. It does create the effect of you being in "your own little world" separate from what seems to be lighter and (possibly) happier. Great angle as well, and the fact that your clothes are all black causes your arm to seem distorted, giving your whole body/self/being to seem like it's curling up on itself. Something like that. Well, whatever it is, it definitely works for this.

my favourite things about this picture are the angle, shadow, the placement of your hand, and what seems to be sadness. Though I'm not saying I like you being sad, it's just that the emotion is effective in this picture, and draws me in. As always, you're gorgeous.
