I think we all have seen the classic-type-of-sunset photographs. The sun, perhaps a stone and a lake reflecting the last rays of sun on it's surface. Not pretty original, but always breathtaking.

This photograph however does take it a step further. Whilst the classic elements are clearly in place, it is also clear a few new things were tried and with succe. Silhouettes of couples add an extra dimension of romance and blend very well with the warm colour of the sun. Keeping the upper half of the sky concealed with tree branches that won't allow us to escape anywhere else than to stay with the essence also works very well and give a nice impression how something much-photographed like a traditional sunset can still show big creativity.

Overall a well composed and refreshing photograph of a not-so-traditional sunset.
