Description
This is my second attempt and i think i like it. The photo is again crappy and i need to scan it when the labs are open agian. The color is not right, its actually much bluer and and pale, but its as close as i could get it. I did her shirt as a collage piece and i think that turned out great. Also the bird turned out well. I enjoyed creating the open color branches, i was looking at a picture of cheery blossoms and i thought it was great how they seemed purple in some places and wonderfully pink in others so i did them as an open color interpretation of the image. So this was watercolor practice and fiddleing with illustration techniques.

edit: i got a better photo of the image and the colors are close to the actual picture, but still better in real life.
