OMG how haven't I seen this one yet? This is simply wonderful! It perfectly captures Anakin's (I mean Vader's) thoughts, his suffering and his regret. Like I said, it's amazing! I feel so sorry for him though...

Thank you so much! It's my headcanons- but you can also see this in many Darth Vader comics- that in his mind, he often thinks about himself as he was before being burnt, it's a natural projection of his inner self. Then, needless to say, I love Anakin's face too much so I draw it whenever it's possible.

This is probably what happened sometimes when Darth Vader was lost in thought; he could remember Padme's light, but it wasn't until Luke came along that he was able to see it again. Again, Luke is Padme's child, and he proved her correct when Vader sacrificed himself by destroying Sidious.
