Description
Deciding to try my hand at digital media I used Manga Studio to color a scanned ink line drawing I made upond first hearing of this contest on Monday.
Having played the game and seen most of the media for it already I knew most would choose to place Laura in the middle of her adventure fighting for her life. I choose a different story to tell. As an acrchaeologist my self I know most of our time is spent reading journal articles and cataloguing artefacts, so I've place Laura studying with her best mate Sam late into the night; Laura cataloguing a ceremonial mask and Sam reading a very large tomb likley pulled from their University or College Library. Next to Laura one can see a ruck sack and a compound bow bag. This can be taken as before or after their adventures on the island, for Laura bears no scars but her left hand is clenched and her bow near to hand, whilst Sam clutches the bench on which she lounges.
