Description
"I remember the first day I saw him quite clearly. I had been helping my mother clean the house when the doorbell rang. She went to answer it and, as I was rather attached to her then, I clung to her skirt and followed after. She opened the door to find a man standing there. He looked like a buisness man. Short brown hair, tie, glasses, and piercing grey eyes. Not blue, not blue-grey, pure grey eyes. He didn't say anything and neither did my mother but she put her arm around me and drew me close. The man looked down at me and stared. He didn't oggle at me or anything, he just took one good long look at me, coughed, looked back at my mother, and pushed up his glasses. As he did the light caught his cheek just right. I could faintly see a line shining there. The man was crying. I never figured out why. I never asked either. The man didn't linger long. He just walked off waving as he went. I figured she knew the man because my mother stared after him until I dragged her inside. By that time, he was long gone."I have this problem where I scan things crooked and write paragraphs without reading them at all. Have you noticed?

The art came before I actually sat down and wrote the story. I'm kind of pleased with it though things could be better *cough*PERSPECTIVE.
