This piece starts a new series on the theme of "Morning." This one dates back to 2005, before I joined DeviantArt, and most, if all of them will be prior to DeviantArt to avoid duplicating paintings I've already posted. I have a lot of morning paintings, as I preferred to paint either morning or evening scenes, when the sun is low and casting log shadows and streaks of light to make a more interesting scene.
