thank you!!! I did it the same way (honestly, I thought The Great Gatsby would be a whole other story?! I was expecting gangsters and car chases and not a tiny bit of romance, hahahaha ... the film did surprise me but not in a bad way!) and the book just gives so much more insight in Nick's views ;0; I loved it!!

there's so many of them and they're all so sad and cute!
I hope you can finish the book soon! it took me pretty long to read through it cause some parts can get a bit boring but it's definitely a good read!

I just finished the book today. Some parts of the book were tough to get through but overall it's a wonderful story! I started looking up some fanfics. I love this!

yeah I like the story a lot but it makes me sooo angry ;___;
I'm like "you could've had it all if you just took Nick instead of Daisy!" everytime I think about it xDD

I know! Before I even knew this was an actual ship, I would have been happier if Nick and Gatsby had gotten even a bit closer in the book! Daisy pushes all my buttons from chapter one. Ugh... I feel as if Nick and Gatsby are the only decent people in the book most of the time. 
BTW, I'm debating whether to make some fanart for this ship now that I've finished the book.

yeah that's right! they're like the only normal persons and the only ones you actually feel sorry for. the others are just ... they're acting so weird most of the time!
fanart would be great : DDDD
there isn't really much fanart of this ship but they're so cute and if I had more time and ideas I'd draw them more often!
the few pics I produced were done right after I watched to movie :'D

I'm glad someone knows how I feel about this book! 
I have noticed the sparse amount of fanart of this ship, and hopefully I can fix that soon.
I do think they are adorable, especially when Gatsby kept trying to find excuses to stay home! 
I never watched the movie, but I heard it was good!

I watched the movie before I read the book and I didn't know anything about the story. I just saw the trailer and Leo in it (that's why I wanted to see it so bad xD) and I thought it was a gangster movie with lots of action and good music and parties. Well, I got the parties and the music but got this messed up love story instead of real action x'DDD I wasn't disappointed though! just angry that they didn't have a happy end!

I think the part where Gatsby made excuses and the whole beginning of the story were my favorite!
