i'm so excited, i got my sally dress in the mail the other day. the wig came too! now i have all of the pieces for the costume all together.
i'm hoping to get a photoshoot in the sally costume sometime next week.
Oct. 1st is almost here! yay!
Oh, and my sister agreed to be my Jack skellington for halloween. xD She loves NBC. <3

Lovely! I had a question about your costume, where did you find those eyelashes? Also what are you doing for the arm/leg coverings, I am also going as Sally for Halloween this year and need ideas for coverings. I would rather not paint them haha that would be very time consuming!

I agree with YuriHappiny on the hair. Sally doesn't even have yard hair so a yarn wig would never look right. At least, her hair doesn't appear yarn, imo. You're gonna be a stunning Sally!

Actually, Sally does have yarn hair but it...different. Its a little hard to explain but I remember reading in the movie's art book that Tim described her as being made of flesh and hair but mixed with fabric and yarn.
My theory is that the Doctor somehow...mixed the fabric and yarn to real skin and hair is some sort of mad science fashion of his.
Overall, I'm super jealous of this cosplay!!!!

btw, i bought it from the marketplace on cosplay.com
someone was selling it for $30! so i got extremely lucky. couldn't believe it. ^^

Well the wig you chose, imo, is better. I know people don't like the opinions of others.. and if you would have preferred a yarn wig over the one you're using then that's perfectly fine. 'Cause, in the end, what matters is what you think. ^^
