Description

Fas misses those that tended to her temple many years ago, lost now to history and time. One of the few Tyrians that far prefers human company than other Tyrians - she feels lost in a new world. However, when she hears of humans coming to Vitalus across the golden light bridge she can't help but investigate. They set up camps and little tent villages as they survey and explore this new world of magic and Tyrians, and Fas watches from afar. For a long time she doesn't approach, afraid they may think her hostile and dangerous. It isn't until they begin their spring festival celebrations - far removed from their usual home - that she has the confidence to come near. The children call to her and she is eager to interact with them and their curious glances and infinite awe. When they reach for the blank dorsal side of her wings with hands scrubbed in paint, she happily lets them draw and paint to their hearts content. She even bends near so they can trace golden suns on her massive face and under her eyes, and for the first time in a long time she feels peaceful and at home.

Just a lil thing for the monthly prompt in World-of-Reos ! I couldn't resist the face painting, as much of Fas' personal lore revolves around the idea that humans used to paint her up and treat her like a goddess before Vitalus was closed to them forever. It was too perfect.
