Funny story: My friend was walking past this picture when I was working on it and she said, "If that was a guy, I'd totally date him!" xD

Well, first submission ho! I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I drew him in that pose. He looks so freakin prone, sort of after a rough night. (you know what imma talkin' bout) xD

Anyways, this is my dear character for a project I'm working on. His name is Katsuri. This is actually the first picture I ever drew of him, and this picture (as well as him) are quite dear to me.

He's the lead guitarist in a band called Blackbird, of which the story revolves around that. He's shy, cute, naiive and really nice. His best friend is the bassist in the band, and he got into it totally by mistake. xD
He's cute in a dorky sort of way. He's rather a bookworm. He didn't want to be a rockstar, he said he wanted to be a photographer or a optician! Poor kid. -hugs him to death- >.<

I know a lot of things are out of proportion on his face. I was getting into the manga Juvinile Orion by an awesome artist (I forget his name) so I was influenced by the almost-liquid style of the artist. This was also one of the first things I did on my tabby, so I was still getting used to it. The lineart was done in opencanvas 4.0 trial (I WANT IT BAAACK -sobs- T-T) when I was getting used to everything. Ah well, back to photoshop lineart.
