Description Cottonmouth, Agkistrodon piscivorus

I have edited this photo to increase its brightness, since I noticed it appeared dark on screens other than mine.

Cottons and coppers are in my top 5 to find this year... I'm supposed to be herp Arkansas for a couple weeks in a month or so so hopefully it works out.

It seems that if you're in the right habitat and make a dedicated search, you'll find them. I flipped 4 copperheads in about 10 minutes last weekend (and it was awesome).

I'm really not worried about not finding them, I just haven't herped within range of them at all since I live in California and have focused on the west coast states.
