This is retaliation against Anime Central 2005. I went in there to pick up some yaoi magazined. Each fandom has a whore, I know this well. Yuu Yuu Hakusho has Hiei, Matrix has Neo, LOTR has Frodo, etc.All I wanted from Shaman King was some Horo/Ren or some Pikira/Anna. That's all. But ALL there was was Yoh/Everybody else. People completely ignore why Yoh can't do that. So I make fun of all of yaoi reasoning. I feel so dirty... a yaoi fan girl going on a tyrade. Shame...

I have to agree, though. All the Yoh pairing stuff is annoying. That's why I read and write super-caf pairings like Ren x Manta & Anna x Ryu [instead of de-caf stuff like Yoh x Anna and regular like Horo x Ren & Hao x Anna.]
I wish I was good enough at art to do my own doujinshis.

hell, if you try just a little, you can pair Yoh with anyone in mankin (yoh/boris anyone?). He's just that kind of character.
And... it doesn't really matter art level, I guess. This was inked with too thick of a pen, written very quickly and sloppily, and done back when my drawing wasn't that great... and people adore it.

Swear to god: In a series, Eliza would look at Anna with pity. Wouldn't the FIRST thing Eliza would do be to STOP HER HUSBAND'S AFFAIR WITH A CHILD? Anyway, later Faust or Yoh tell Anna that Yoh needs a new bed because they broke it. She is perfectly okay with that.

It is, that's why i was so surprised not to see anything of it. Just go to any con, though. Each one sells yaoi- just some are more hidden. (If you go to acen, right inside the dealer's room door is a big sign saying YAOI with a whole table filled with it. There's a guy with a loudspeaker advertising. It's doubtful you'll be as lucky, though).

I could say that it was either Manta or Horo Horo for the buddy-buddy defence and that Horo Horo is just so much more... can't even think of a way to finish that without being mauled by Manta fan girls.
The thing was that I completely forgot about Manta. I had Ren, Horo, and Faust and was looking for someone else. It took me a while to get Hao. By the time I remembered Manta, Hao already had his place. So he's given the typical 'god-damn it, Yoh' appearance in the last panel.
