Description
A joke on the mascots of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.Almost all people in China don't like the mascots and many of them modify the mascots for fun in private .
The mascots' name is "Fuwa", that means "fortune babies". but in Chinese language, word "Fuwa" also has some bad meanings - like "corrupt frogs" etc.
Now, there is a popular japanese anime - "Keroro", the heros in the anime are 5 alien frogs which are very similar in color to the Olympic mascots. So I made this KUSO picture "The Corrupt Frogs" just for fun too.

When I first saw the Beijing 2008 Olympic mascots, I thought "there's something familair about them, but I can't exactly put my finger on it..." after a while, I realized that they looked similar to the Keroro Platoon, and then I thought "Is this one of Kululu's tricks, is the platoon using the olympics as a method of taking over Pekopon?" but then I pictured Natsumi getting mad at Keroro again, this time, for the olympic mascots!"

Yeah. I've seen Chinese and Japanese blogs and theorized that the Keroro platoon were ripped off by the "Fortune Babies." They believe that China has unwillingly copied from a Japanese anime that promotes "militarism and racism, considering that they used the Japanese Naval Ensign and that the word Pekopon/Earth is from a racial slur by IJA soldiers against China."
Corrupt Frogs? That is a good metaphor! Though I personally liked both mascot series, though.
If you stumble against a PRC-hater or a Japan-hater, you may give this to them if they want agitprop.
