My sister came to me one day and asked for a hippocampus drawing...and after I discovered what the heck that was I drew one for her! I really liked how this turned out, maybe I'll color it one of these days. ^_^Related content

Just saw the request to use your drawing as line art. I'm looking for a hippocampus for a book cover but the hippocampus in my book has webbed feet. It's absolutely gorgeous (about the prettiest I've seen) but this animal never leaves the water...and should have webbed front feet. I almost cry every time I see one with hooves. Not only that but the webbed feet make it even more beautiful because of the flowing lines. Just noticed the gills. The hippocampus, like the turtle, is an air breather. However, mythical animals leave a lot of room for creativity. Would love to see it in color. The ones in my books are white.
