Description The giant worm creature found in most Legend of Zelda games. In order for Link to defeat such a creature, he generally has to attack the different body segments to cut it down to size!

I tried to blend the different styles found in the various games, plus was inspired by sand worms from other sources like Dune and Tremors.

I don't think too many people would get that reference.

I did.

Something about this is giving me a more Metroid vibe then Zelda, but it's all good!

There isn't really a lot to go on with classic Zelda creatures. The Moldorm in the game is a bunch of circles. heh

Metroid vibe, eh? No surprise there as Metroid is still one of my influences.

Yeah, the sprite in the first game is just orange circles. And they didn't really improve on that..lol. I'd be cool to see an updated version in the Twilight Princess or Sky Ward Sword style, just to see what they could come up with.

Oh, BLEAH, now I'm having Sky Ward Sword flashbacks. "No, freak, no, I'M WAVING MY ARM THIS WAY, WHY ARE YOU NOT SWINGING YOUR SWORD THIS WAY!!! WHY ARE YOU DOING BACK-FREAKING-FLIPS?!?!"

Stupid motion "control".

Play it emulated with a dual-stick controller. The game is pretty fun and works really well that way. You can assign the motion controls to button presses! No more wild shaking, wide arm swings, and dislocated shoulders!

I feel like a jerk, I made one of my friends play some of the areas because my arms were killing me, and I was getting sick of the game. Also, I HATED that freaking astral plane crap. Much like I hated collecting Bugs in Twilight Princess...seriously...let me in the dungeon...I don't want to collect freaking bugs or teardrops or raindeer poop. I really want a Zelda game that's based on exploring and not side questing.

I'd play it emulated, but every time I try to get a disk based emulator to work...I can't.

I'm not all that fan of easter-egg hunts in games either. But at least it was a lot better than the fishing expeditions you had to do in Windwaker. The dungeons seemed too short compared to how long it took to get to each of them. The Sacred Realm parts in Skyward Sword weren't too bad, but I'd have hated to play them with the Motion+.
