Description
Date: 16th November 1962Very few images exist of NWR No.7 ‘Toby’ during the war, due to the engine’s historical significance and design, was assigned to supply deliveries along the branch to Ffarquhar.
It is important to note that the train pictured was reported to have taken the remains of FQC No.1 ‘Mavis’ away for scrap.
Today, the J70 is currently on loan to the Bressingham Steam Museum.
