Nice! Some day I want to build something like this for my Lego Central Railroad, which consists of a 4-4-0 (made from the Lone Ranger Constitution Train chase), a customized Emerald Night, a Maresk, and a small self-made switching diesel.

Do you have a link to your LEGO trains?

Have yet to get pictures taken, but I hope to get some some. My layout is kind-of the Desk Railway of TurboJUK, only in a storage tub at the moment. I'll set a link as soon as I can.

Well I'm curious and like to see them when you get around to taking pics sometime. Are you a member of brickshelf or flickr?

No. But I have a Facebook group called The Lego Central Railroad Club. That will also have pictures.

I now have some pictures taken with my IPad Mini on Two Facebook groups. One is the group I mentioned before, and the other is the Lego Train Fan Club.

Soon, I meant to say soon when I said "some some". Blasted mistyping.

That's funny you should say that, all my friends thought it was real until they clicked the photo.

this is really awesome! love all the details in this scene and the real steam is a great effect(that i might have to try myself)
the photo is really well done too and the B/W works really great!

Thanks I wish I could have captured the lathe in the background but it's hard to position the camera and be able to capture everything correctly. I was going for a 40's era workshop so I decided it would look a lot better in B&W.

cool dude! yea it can be hard to get the photos you want sometimes, i know all about that. you could always fiddle around and take more shots of this scene.
yea the B/W really helps with that effect.
