they're the same person because Akuma lost her powers after a strong attack and as a result reverted into a human in a subconscious attempt to stay alive - thus "Elia" was born.

Oh, right. So I was thinking... Poor Elia doesn't really have any romance in her life. At least in our RP. We know she's like, totally with Ichigo in our story. They'd make a good couple. While Akuma has a boyfriend that she's even thinking about breaking up with and whatever... Do you think she should stay like that? Single and all? I don't usually like characters remaining single. I'm sure someone from Soul Society would suit her well! And I would have no problem playing him, either. In fact, I really love playing the Soul Reapers. I feel I can play any of them well!

if anything i'd think Elia would end up with Ukitake or Hisagi. I think it'd be weird for her to get into a relationship though considering technically the first one she had resulted in a love child... ^.^' she'd be very cautious about it.

Hm... I think Ukitake would be the best for her! Since he's so gentle, completely different to Aizen's treatment towards her! It's completely understandable for her to be cautious, so the relationship wouldn't have to be right away

Well, that's what makes love stories better! Besides, she's got plenty to choose from. Or at least three. Akihiko, Izuru, or... Yumichika. I was gonna have Shuhei like her, too, but that guy isn't really into crushes and stuff like that. Or at least I don't think he is. Besides, there really isn't any connection between Ruri and Shuhei, I don't wanna hoard them all to my character. I wanna keep it realistic.
Izuru would like Ruri because, well, she's pretty, I guess, and they spent some time together, due to Elia's closeness to all the Squads, and particularly her fondness for the Kurosakis. Akihiko likes Ruri, well, that's obvious. They've been friends since childhood, how could he not like her? And Yumichika... He likes her because she's often scored a good one in the 'Prettiest Shinigami Girls,' among the guys at the Seireitei. he likes that her beauty is subtle, too, and wouldn't outshine his if they were ever together. The other guys... They're just too distant to Ruri to have a realistic crush on her
