Description MAGE WEREWOLF
IN NON-TRANSFORMED FORM
WAHEY!
(werewolves transform because of the amount of moonlight currently on them; some especially sensitive ones can start transforming days before the full moon actually arrives)
(the traditional colors of the mages guild are pink and green; because of the need for dexterity when casting spells, they shortened the sleeves of their shirts- independently creating T-shirts. T-shirts eventually spread to the rest of the population)
(werewolves and wolfmen have a shortened life-span [werewolves age 3 years to our 1, wolfmen age 5 to our 1] so they only have general school knowledge. They're frequently employed as physical laborers, or they specialize in some random subject for the rest of their life [30 years is a ripe old age to a werewolf].

...um
Obviously the background is pretty bad, and the shading of the clothes... I'm rather fond of the shading I did on the face, though, so you can click 'download' to look at that... :B

ANYWAY
If you guys could tell me how to get better (links to tutorials are awesome), that would be fantastic.

I'm lovin' the shading, specially on the hair and face :3 The shading you did around the creases on the pants is also awesome. I think that other than on the places I've mentioned, you could use quite a bit more shading 'cause it looks kinda flat, especially on the sweater. If you change the mode to Greyscale you'll see which areas need more tonal range. Also don't just shade in a darker version of the colour you're using, try using a really unsaturated complimentary colour to create a contrast and make the lighter areas stand out more. Also some texture would be nice, like crosshatching on the clothing or something. I find that Kalamu [link] has a really nice way of colouring :3

I reeeaaallly love your style though *w* Looking at your art is so refreshing! Poossttt moooorrreee >: (

Thaaank you
About the complimentary colors I tried to remember your advice from last time- I did add purple or red or some sort of color to the face- and then I just forgot to use it everywhere else.
The shirt and vest are super flat because I was getting really sick of working on this picture (also why the background sucks). A week and a half is tops for me. XD
Thanks for the advice, and the tip about the greyscale especially, never knew that

Thank you again XD
I want to try that 100 themes thing, so maybe I'll upload some more junk (if I'm not too lazy).
