i'm also a cinema 4d user, this is a very simple concept when it comes to what effects and parts of the program you had to use but the overall effect you did with it is awsome, such a simple concept turned into something great, keep it up

I know I'm not a expecienced C 4D user - I can do some stuff, but I mostly don't have the patience (and the knowledge) to model something nice - I did some basic stuff though, It's nice to use...

Interesting grainy texture on the backround, I'm so-so on that, I think the real character is the earth, that's where everything comes together(or falls apart...depending on my mood).

Yeah, i read a few comments up above about it reminding them of Tetris.
Actually, there's an N64 game called Tetrisphere that this looks like. I loved that game.
Very well done, and congrats on the DD!

OH! I like it!^^ Very nice compostion and I love how the sides of the blocks have swaths of the colours of the part of the Earth they were. <---(hopes that made sence)
It reminds me of one of those foam 3-D puzzles!
>.>;...though I'm quite sure the idea behind it is much more profound.

This is very well done. I like the way the planet is futuristic looking and the blocks are coming out, but you also added an element of dust particles to the area surrounding it. Realistic touch. Well done.

thanks for te concrete comment - the dust particles are added via a simple background image - sometimes you have to improvise
