The fall of Drakus

On a star spangled night in the air he soared,
slaying beast after beast,
shattering shield and sword.
The dragon without fear flew to rescue his friend,
and in the city of angels he met his end.
Flung through the air and then crucified,
a pole through his wrists his feet and his side.
As he lay dieing the end so near,
Stellar the angel spoke softly to his ear.
your body is broken you cannot still fight,
the angels I’m afraid are going to die out,
our time is past but this last thing ill do,
to keep you alive I’ll be one with you.
