Description
I believe everyone has seen Spider-Man Far From Home and agree that Mysterio was a fantastic villain, but many also know that he’s probably one of the most perfect villains for Spider-Man, as only the wall crawler can see through his illusions thanks to his Spider Senses. But did anyone thought about a villain that could completely screw up those senses. Well then let me introduce you to “The Hypnotist”.Bio:
Francesco Palazzo was an Italian art student that went to America as an exchange student. During that time he stumbled upon the Sancta Sanctorum, where he came face to face with Doctor Strange himself. The doctor of course, pretended to be just a rich item collector, but Francesco didn’t believe him one bit, and as he was been sent out of the building, he was able to grab a book from one of the shelf without the hero noticing. After he got out and went back to his college he saw a fight between Spider-Man, who was still Peter at the time, and Quentin Beck aka Mysterio. Francesco was fascinated by Beck’s tricks and after the villain got out of jail early for good behavior, Francesco approached him asking to become his “apprentice”. Mysterio gladly accepted, and the two learned together for at least 4 months, until the mantle of Spider-Man passed on to Miles, when the villain met his demise, refusing to be saved by his mortal enemy and sent today once again. Francesco watched the entire scene unfolding and tried to save his teacher using the book he stole from Doctor Strange, with which he had previously practice in secret, but it was all useless as Mysterio was already dead when his body got teleported to safety. Only Francesco knew of Quentin’s death, as everyone thought the criminal pulled the ultimate trick to disappear forever. After this event Francesco trained to follow Mysterio’s footsteps and even surpass him, using special effects and magic. He became incredibly skilled in the arts of hypnosis and ubiquity and in the use of holograms. Now after many years of training, after Miles went into a coma and Mayday gained the mantle of web crawler, Francesco Palazzo began his career as “The Hypnotist”, robbing of millions of dollars the richest people on the planet, without them even noticing. And so it came the day that the two CEO of Future Tech themselves, Peter and Harry, were invited to one of his shows along with their families to be robbed both of their money and their technology, fortunately Peter and Mayday weren’t being effected by the hypnosis due to their Spider senses, and Peter covered his daughter’s back while she went to the bathroom and changed into Spider-Girl. When the all new web slinger got on the scene, a ton of awful memories came back to Francesco, who immediately started a fight using the hypnotized crowd as a diversion while he escaped with the money, Spider-Girl was able to isolate him thanks again to her dad who hold the crowd back. During the fight however, the apparently harmless Hypnotist proved to be one of the toughest foes, she had ever faced. Looking directly onto his mask, can cause serious vertigo, he could duplicate himself and use holograms at the same time causing Spider Girl’s spider senses to go nuts, summon a swarm of aggressive humming birds( the only thing he learned to summon from his book), and the cane proved to be not just a fashion choice as it had a hidden blade in it. Mayday wasn’t able to do much but she was still able to prevent the villain to steal the projects, thus The Hypnotist left with only the jewels and the money of its crowd, leaving everyone but Peter and Mayday the memory of his crime. Francesco will be an apparently uncatchable villain for all of Mayday’s career, but this doesn’t mean he’s not unbeatable as there are still minor imperfections in his illusions, making Mayday relying more on her detective skills rather than her powers.
