Could you maybe make some automatic login in this if it's not to much to ask for, cuz I had downloaded a Firefox Addon that did that, but it crashes with the new V7 (like everything else)

I'm against unsafe storage of passwords in the extension's data, and Chrome does not (yet?) provide a safer way.

This is really odd.
1) Do you have Splinter option off?
2) What kind of message you have (exact kind and how it shows in dA's drop-down menu for messages)?

1) what is a "Splinter option"? Sorry, Im not familar with all this stuff
2) Now it should show me tha tI have 1 message, and 2 journals, and it is showing: Last updated: [and here is an hour] and "Β for ~ava-angel"

It's a deviantART option, not extension's option.
If you have splinter on, 0.4 won't work. It will show 0 messages and broken tooltip text - looks like it's what you see.
If you're interested, I'll send you 0.5.1-beta2 when it's done, it should work. For now, click the "Unsplinter menu" link in dA's message menu.

Good news, everyone: Google released Chrome 5 as stable. I hope to merge 0.5 which is in the works with current 0.4 version, which will bring sound notifications for those who need them.. Desktop notifications need some designing - I'm not really sure what's best to place in them.
Bad news, everyone: my main PC is dead (video card gave up after 3 years of service), so I'm pretty much busy with getting it back up and can't name any deadline on a new version.
