A/N: Just wanted to add my fav superhero now that the show is finally out!

You wake up to something tickling your face. You open your eyes, smiling when you see Matt leaning over you. He's running his finger tips along your jawline, your cheekbones, your lips, and forehead. His touch sends shivers down your spine.
"Matt?" you ask softly.
He smiles fondly, brushing your hair out of your eyes. "You're awake."
You reach up, running your own fingers across his scruffy jaw. "What were you doing?" Your tone isn't accusatory, simply curious.
Matt looks a little sheepish, pulling your hand away from his face and gripping it tightly. "I wish I could see when you wake up," he admits. "You must be so beautiful."
One super nice thing about being married to a blind man is that he can't see you blush. Of course, he can hear your heart beat faster.
"Nah. I'm so glad you can't see my messy hair. And I have no make-up-"
Matt cuts you off with a finger to your lips. "Don't be silly," he whispers. "I'd give anything to see you with out make-up."
You feel guilty. That's how it always is though. Whenever you make a comment about your physical appearance, usually negative, Matt will make you feel better. He can't see what you think is beautiful or not so beautiful. He only knows you one way and he insists you're the most gorgeous woman. He says he sees the most wonderful part of you; your heart.
"Sometimes, I wish I could be blind like you. You see so much more. You see what matters," you whisper.
Matt scoffs a little, brushing off your comment. "Maybe. But sometimes I wish I couldn't. I'd give a lot to be as oblivious as anyone else."
"Hmmm...." you hum, thinking. You shift closer to Matt, curling against his muscled chest. He grips your waist, pressing his forehead against yours. You start drifting off to sleep before you speak again. "I guess that's part of what makes you a hero though," you mumble. "If you were oblivious, you'd be like everyone else...."
Matt smiles, kissing your forehead as you fall back to sleep.
