Description
You wake up to the bright sun streaming through the windows. You see Noah, sitting on the edge of the bed with his back to you. You reach out your hand, rubbing his shoulder. He looks back and smiles at you, moving to lay down. He places his hand against your cheek, rubbing it softly with his thumb.
"Noah," you break the peaceful silence, "for the first time I have hope."
He nods. "I think we can make it here."
Then you pull away and stand up, holding your hand out to him. "C'mon. Time to start the new day," you say, grinning.
He groans a little, moving onto his back. He grabs your hand and you start to tug. He pulls the opposite way and you land on top of him, laughing.
"Noah! This is not getting up," you say, blushing when your eyes connect.
Noah shakes his head. "I say, for once we have plenty of time to get started."
Then he kisses you.
