Description
You groan, opening your eyes to a weird orange light. Then you remember. With a start, you look to your right, where the Doctor is still sleeping peacefully. Strange; normally he wakes up way before you. You turn onto your side to watch him a little. You rarely get to see him so vulnerable. You're on a foreign planet with the Doctor, but you couldn't feel more safe. You blush as you recall the events of last night, having to share a bed with the Doctor. To make it slightly less awkward for you, he had chosen to sleep on top of the sheets. However, you realize with a speeding heart rate that he is now under the sheets. He grunts, shifting. You close your eyes and hold your breath. When you open them carefully, you see the Doctor has turned to face you, his head mere inches from yours.
Then he clears his throat and you shut your eyes again. You can feel his eyes on you. You expect him to hurriedly back away, but instead his hand brushes back the hair from your face, tracing your jaw gently. You try to keep breathing. Which becomes immensely hard to do when you feel his breath against your lips. A pause, then he presses a kiss to your forehead. You feel the bed shift and then the bedroom door opens and closes. You finally open your eyes. You touch your lips, thinking for sure he was about to kiss you. Now you have the heavy task of acting like nothing had happened.
