I've had the pencil drawing of this for at least a year in my computer but I was too lazy to color it. I want to make a drawing for each chapter of the Harry Potter Novels and this is my first in this project. It will probably take me years to do them all, but I like the idea and I'm in no hurry

i never really got why the supposed light wizard par exellance never checked if the the future savior was treated well. it also seemed pretty dumb to just leave him there...he could have frozen to death, crawled on the street and hit by a car or kidnapped by somebody else...
also never understood why harry threw fits over the smallest stupidest things but never grew angry at the wizard that left him for elven years in an abusive enviroment and never called sth like wizard child service into action after he was pretty much sure that potter got abused at home.Β

I've wondered about this scene for a while now. I couldn't picture it because one year olds are pretty big and mobile and the, "baby in the basket" image didn't make sense to me. Thank you for drawing this because now I can picture it in my head.
