I really like where you went with this. But I kind of feel that the snake in the top left is hurting the depth of the manip. It's too small in the context of the other snakes. At that size, it should be much farther than the depth of the background allows it to go. The other snakes however are a great touch. Especially the one that appears partially in the foreground. The whole thing looks poisonous.

Thank you so much. I'm afraid this was one where I broke one of my own rules. Never start, finish and post a piece all in the same day. I have that rule because when ever I have done that, I have always had regrets after. There is much that I would change in this piece, and I do appreciate your comments. There is some good and then there is some not as good

Haha yes, that is risky. I am kind of on the other extreme. I can never finish a manip in reasonable time, even when I promise myself that I would. I've been working on a manip for 3 weeks now, I wanted to finish it in less than a week. We all need to find a balance.

This is great! When I first saw it, I was quite, taken aback. Those eyes! With just enough facial detail for that malignant expression to come through. Ack! Ack!
You didn't ask but I'll offer these thoughts. Less detail, except around the eyes, fewer background and foreground features, more darkness. Ah! Who am I to say? I can't do anything like this!
