Tribute art to Qinni, who recently passed away after battling against cancer and heart disease.Gosh, this hit me hard, it still feels unreal.
I didn't know Qinni, personally or otherwise, but I've followed her work for years and I really admired her, not only as a talented artist, but as the incredible amazing person she was too. She was so strong and brave, and even when things where difficult for her, she remained hopeful. I can't stop thinking of the last piece she posted and how she said that last chemo session was better than the first one and that she was drawing so much and wanted to do an artbook... She still had so much fight in her... I couldn't quite believe she was gone when I first saw it here in dA. I was so shocked and so sad and it just felt really, really unfair. At least she doesn't have to suffer anymore. She will be missed, and she will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace among the starsΒ Β

Gosh this is SO PRETTY. I heard about her passing, I didn't know her as well but I loved her art and was so sad as well.. This is a gorgeous tribute to her.

It's really hard to hear how much more she still wanted to do with the time she had left...I'm glad she's no longer in pain, no more worry...and I hope she's still drawing, and one day we'll get to see it.Β
