Why a split personality?
Lucy's heart broke in the battle of Notre Dame. Darkness corrupted it and created her dark self Ira. She is like a Heartless but captured inside Lucy's body. This also created Lucy's Nobody: Xucyl.
Lucy got her Keyblade after Ira was born. Her weapon has the ability to hold and release her dark side.
Ira's senses are better, she's stronger and braver.

PS: Yes, I am that lazy that I didn't even draw her new. I only redrew older images of her.
