Great art but I really don't get the whole gay thing here. Sure comic Joker was slightly queer, but movie Joker is completely the opposite. Didn't you see the sexual tension between Joker and Rachel?
Don't mention the interrogation scene, cause that's a different tension. He wanted Batman to kill him, to turn the hero into the villain. Like when Robert De Niro and Al Pacino talk over coffee in Heat. It's just the two opposites facing off.

That's kinda the thing about sexual tension between Bats and Joker. It's not all about the sexuality, but more about the power play.
With Rachel the sexuality is a given, but it seems staged. Like the story he gives her (about his wife and the gambling) it looks like a bit of an act. Because she is a pretty girl, and especially because she is Harvey's (whom he suspects may be Batman at the time). Now, he could very well really be attracted to her for that reason (the thrill of a power struggle with Harvey, taking what's his). I could easily see the Joker getting into that.
He likes to take every kind of relationship he can find and twist it around horribly. I could see him going for almost anything as long as it's corrupt somehow. Then again, he played with other people's relations like that (Harvey and Rachel, Gordon and family), as far as i know he didn't engage in it himself besides what he must have done to get some of his already half crazy goons (the cell phone guy and Thomas Schiff) to worship him. So, it's even possible that he wouldn't want to be sexually involved at all, with anyone. In actuality, i'd go with that as the most probable conclusion. Batman could be an exception because he's on the same level as the Joker, and i bet that no one else is on the same level as the Joker as far as he's concerned.
Bats is the ultimate adversary/rival/equal for him. It hasn't yet had years to solidify in TDK like it has in the books, but it's pretty clear that the Joker has gained an obsession with Batman.
Anyway, i guess how this boils down is that for a lot of people, this power play equates to sex as much as physical attraction.
So, that's the long of it.
For this picture specifically (though i assumed you were asking about B/J in the general sense), it's more for the fan fixation than it is to delve into their psyches. (And it being based on a one shot story to boot.)

I muchly like the idea of Joker/Bruce rather than Joker/Batman. While I'm okay with creepy clown facepaint, I am not, however, with the bat suit. Love how you drew the look on Bruce's face, and your use of color. As soon as I saw half of the picture was missing, for some reason, it immediately sprung to my head, "I bet they're fapping each other off." Haha! I was right.
