I know you were doing movies (and TV) but I wish you'd have rendered a more book like Deja instead of the film version.  I always imagined the clothes, or lack there of, that you depicted Dale Arden in (correctly from the film) would be a perfect Deja Thores type outfit.

I've been planning to do some Princess of Mars illustrations for the longest time and even started a few, but I'm waiting for a bit more distance from the movie now. Don't worry, they are coming though!

I know people pooh pooh Devil Girl from Mars, but I think with a decent production budget that movie had a fair premise that could be worked into a good film.

Man, thanks for the line up link below. I had 10 of them, but the rest I would have never figured out. I LOVE the Flash Gordon, Ghosts of Mars, Martian Manhunter, & the John Carter crews. Very cool pic. This is an instant fave!

I'm not as old as that version of "War of the Worlds" but "My Favorite Martian" came out the year I was born.  Even "Total Recall" is, like, 27 years old and I could swear it came out on Cinemax (cable) just last year... second thought it probably did.  I'm impressed so many in this crowd are recognizing these without peeking (ah, so they claim...), although naturally if you've seen the movie/show once they're unmistakable.  Did the original "Star Wars" really come out 40 years ago?

   The "identifier page" reminds me of something similar I saw for the "Sargent Pepper's" album cover.  Now that one is a challenge if you don't know the middle of the Twentieth Century.

Mars has been a very popular destination for scifi for a long time. I remember seeing My Favourite Martian as a kid on a friends TV and being totally fascinated by it.
That Sargent Peppers identifier sounds like a fun challenge to try!
