I am at one with the duck.
Delightful work as always! I especially like the rendering on the feet. Something about the way you made them look all shiny, and yet not plasticy. You are the texture master. I bow to you. Show me the path of the duck. lmao.
Also really cool feature having the circle theme appear visually throughout the illo. Sorta zen in and of itself. No beginning, no ending. Just the circle.

Always been drawn (no pun intended) to the circular motif, but never rationalized it as well as you have. May have to borrow your thought process - it'll make me sound 'deeper'!

"Deeper" is always a good thing. Well, unless it's in regards to debt, or trouble, or quicksand, or some other such icky thing. lol.
I've always loved the circular motif in your work. Not only does it do a fantastic job as a visual effect of keeping the viewer's eye focused on the page itself, but it also really strikes that classic pin up glory that is present in all your work. Professional, powerful, and fun.
That is the zen of Dave.
