Description
I sighed and put my ferret back in his box. I quickly ran to the front room. Everyone was already suiting up.
"Blending in type of mission?"  I asked cautiously.
"Yeah, top boss has some friends in Romania he wants us to check out. He told us to send you and Luke into action while Jared and I are to be on stand-by. Carry as many guns as you can without showing them off. Also, they may need to be easily reached. Don't trust anyone but us. Got it?"  Derek said as he carefully pulled out three or four racks of guns.  I nodded and carefully picked my guns. I preferred hand guns Luke on the other hand, preferred rifles for long distance shots. I knew one day I was going to save his ass because of this.
I grabbed my long black overcoat that looked like Neo's from the Matrix. I rushed out to our private plane after carefully placing the guns and ammo in my pockets and pouches so they didn't show. I also had a duffle bag with 60 odd-what guns in it. Just in case as I had put it.
"Hey Joey, where are we landing today?" I asked casually like it was everyday we talked about this. In this case it was.
"Boboc Airport, Miss White, it being a military airport."
I nodded and drifted off to sleep. About 2 hours later I was startled awake by the plane's engines. Sighing I laid my head against Luke's shoulder. It was better than the leather seats. I liked Luke's shoulder better than the leather. Ack! What am I thinking?! Luke started laughing like he heard what I thought. I looked up at him wondering what the heck he was laughing about.
Luke saw my confused face and he smiled his genuine smile. "You just jumped like someone shocked you." He explained.
"Let's go! We're here!" Joey shouted.
Luke and I jumped to our feet and put our earphones in our ears. Derek quickly explained where to go and when. "And remember don't trust anyone but us. Now go!" Derek shouted.
I grabbed my duffle bag and ran. Luke was easily able to keep up with me. By the time we got to plaza we only had 3 minutes to get to the mansion. Then out of nowhere gun fire rang out.
I quickly rolled off to the side and yanked Luke with me. Pulling out one of my guns I looked around finding the sniper.
'Damn it! I can't shoot that far with a hand gun!'
"Luke" I hissed, "sniper three o' clock."
Luke whirled around to three o' clock position and pulled out his rifle and took aim. BANG!
"Hopefully that's the only one." Luke muttered and as soon as he said this more shots were fired. But, these were too close to be snipers.
"My turn, Luke I need you to stay here! I don't want to have to save your ass again! You hear?!" I yelled over the gun fire.  He nodded and I jumped out from behind the stand we were hiding at and started my own open fire. I managed to kill everyone but the last one. I quickly reloaded and stopped dead in my tracks.
I strained my eyes to see his face.  Then it hit me, it was Michael, my old friend from elementary school.
"M-m-mike? It's me, Ashley." I stuttered. "From elementary school!"
"I don't care. I'm doing my job." He sneered as he aimed at my head.
"Ashley, GET DOWN!!!" I heard Luke yell. Suddenly I was falling just as gun shots rang and I took notice of the body on top of me. I quickly got up and aimed. BANG!!!!!
I flinched when I heard his body slump to the floor. I started to silently shed tears right after that. Luke sighed and rubbed my back and tried to comfort me. He knew how I felt. It's not like your first kill. You just killed a friend. It hurts you, really bad. After a few seconds I got up and turned toward the mansion.
"Let's go. We need to finish the job."I said emotionlessly.
"Ashley, are you sure you want to? We can call Derek or Jared to replace you." Luke said cautiously.
"I'm fine I need to beat the shit out of these guys' boss." I said coolly.
"Nope. I am not going to let you do that." Luke said right as he turned on the earphone."Derek I need you and Jared to replace me and Ashley. Pronto. No questions!"
"Yes sir!" Derek replied quickly and hung up.
Derek arrived with Jared in tow just after. They nodded and ran to the mansion. Luke turned to me and kissed my forehead. He then put his arm around my shoulders and dragged me back to plane. He sighed then sat down in our original seats before the chaotic mission began.
I began to judge the chance I might be able to get out of the plane before Joey locked the door. They weren't looking good at all. As if hearing my thoughts, Luke told Joey to lock the door. Luke looked at me then motioned for me to sit beside him. I sat miserably beside him. He glanced at me then he sighed.
"Hey I have two dumb questions to ask you."  I said lightly.
"There is no such thing as dumb questions. Only dumb answers. But anyways what is it?" he smiled.
I looked at my feet and sighed. I was slightly embarrassed to ask these. "Why did you save me from Michael and if I died a thousand times would you cry every time?"
I heard him sigh then turn towards me. He poked my shoulder and I looked up at him just in time for him to catch my lips with his own. Pulling away, he said, "I saved you cause I love you, idiot. And to answer the next one, yes I would. I would feel guilty about not being able to save you every time."
I laughed lightly at this and laid down using his lap as a pillow.  Luke smiled and rubbed my hair out of place. I smiled at him and closed my eyes. I felt Luke kiss my forehead.
"You feeling better now?" he asked lightly.
"A little why?"
"Cause Derek and Jared are here." He said with a laugh. "If I didn't know any better I'd think they're best friends. I finally know that Derek and Jared are homosexual. I just do."
"Dude I knew that a long time ago." I said with a huge grin on my face.
"How?"
"I asked them and they told me."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"Well there's nothing to fret we took care of everything… why are you guys like that?" Jared asked.
"Why didn't you guys tell me you were gay?"Luke asked back.
"Ummmm…… because we-"
'ASHLEY! WHY DID YOU TELL HIM?!" Derek yelled.
I giggled and replied, "I didn't say anything I promise. He just brought it up!"
"Oh, okay."
"Can we go home now?' I asked tiredly.
Joey laughed and nodded. And with that we went home.

I giggled and replied, "I didn't say anything I promise. He just brought it up!"

"Can we go home now?' I asked tiredly.
Joey laughed and nodded. And with that we went home.
