this looks like GIMP... burn tool, dodge tool, smudge tool, filters, layers, paths, WTF!? I need help understanding the difference between photoshop and gimp, anyone?

you make it look so easy.
what opacity or pressure do you use?
burn always adds to the color when i go over it (w/o clicking too)
did you see my tails pic?

if you look at the above bare you can see all the opacity's i use and stuff, but I usually keep it at 23% exposure.

All in the matter of what kind of effect you are looking for. I find it cool and unique how it looks like thick paint. It looks like youβre going for the chubby style, not really a style I like much so I canβt say my opinion is fair. But donβt give up. The more you draw, the better you become.
