hmm....parul arata cam nerealist...e deranjant de alb...arata a poza de national geographic although and that was your purpose...deci e super ok...iar reflexia din ochi parca o preferam mai blurred un pic...mai reala...asa se vede ca ii super sharp...ceea ce nu se intampla si in real life...in rest...it's touching...

pai no... ideea aici era de emfazat ceva, nu sa redau realitatea.Ideea era sa arat ca realitatea e super dramatica si sa zic: "bai, ia uitati aici cum sta treaba de fapt !".nu doresc limbi in fund... ii ok sa zici parerea ta.

the sharpness and focus on the image was achieved through repeated shadow/highlight adjustment.The original photo is blurry, unclear and way to dark to put the subject into spotlight... plus I loved the expression on his face... it tells a million stories.

basically it's shadow/highlight adjustments, highlisht selections and colorizations.There's no receipe for every image ! I've tried to find one but it doesn't work on all images. maybe I'll put a sample PSD for learning purpouses !

Well most of the old mens in those type of pics show a calm side or when they are distracted and such. I don't know but that one makes me a bit uncomfortable since it's very clear to see the pain on his face.

well.. that was the exact intention... to show that pain.to make it more obvious.Unfortunatley my famili went through a couple of problems with my grandmother and her place... so I know that uneasy painfull look of being tired of living.And it's bad enough they are going through so many problems... turning our heads and not seeing the obvious would be a slap in the face in my opinion.
