and to clarify things a little, this is no Corrida/Bullfight, the Bulls are neither killed nor hurt in the process

yeah, I know its easy to hate them, especially if you like animals, but a lot of skill goes into bull fights. A bull is a dangerous animal that would kill you rather than looking at you. To even run around it takes balls, to fucking stab it takes more.

it would take balls when you kill a bull who in the wilds,whos attking you, for self defense.
but man bring the bull in that situation only for entertaining people.
and when the bull really get the chance to hurt someone the torero
get help by other people.its an unequal battle with the rules of man.

es una tradicion asquerosa que solo ridiculiza y tortura a un pobre animal que no le ha hecho nada a nadie, porque incluso cuando no lo matan como en este caso (o eso parece, pero no creo que dejen a ningun toro morir de viejo y en paz) se mofan de el solo para que la gente sedienta de sangre se divierta.
Ademas en esta foto creo que el toro esta sangrando por la nariz, a saber lo que le habian hecho ya para cuando sacaron la foto

There should be NO bullfight at all allowed, nore anything around it making advertising for such a cruel show.

I completely agree with you. The whole "Running with the Bulls" should also be outlawed as people have been known to die and it is very stressing on the animal many of which die.

This is no Bullfighting/Corrida ...but a tradition from southern France, some parts of Spain etc during which a group of people tries to catch strings attached to the horns of the Bulls. It's about outrunning the animals and snatching those trophies, hence the name 'Course' which means run/race. The Bulls are harmed in no way during this, there is no blood and they are brought back to their pastures after the games. It's dangerous for sure but mostly for the human participants and you could argue if people really should risk their lives for the entertainment of others (then again this is the case for other sports and traditions too) I'm against cruelty to animals, but this is no worse than riding a horse for example which most people consider being fine (which is another discussion though depending on how radical your view on protecting animals really is xD)

Impressive photograph, I never heard of 'course' before. I'm also relieved to hear that it is a sport that doesn't cost the bull his life.
I keep riding horses and every once in a while I find myself thinking
what am I doing to this animal, putting metal in its mouth and sitting on its back....??
But they don't work very hard most days and they get fed pretty well after all.
