and to clarify things a little, this is no Corrida/Bullfight, the Bulls are neither killed nor hurt in the process

I don't know ...nosebleed due to physical activity i guess, like some people with weak mucosa get when their blood pressure/heartrate rises.
...believe me, i was there for almost 2 hours that day and have seen some events like it since i was 4 years old and the animals were never tormented in the arena (or outside as far asi know). They were just running, and when they get tired the round stops and the next bull is brought in...
I saw the animals being brought there and i have seen them beeing brought back too, i have seen them getting medical treatment if they get hurt. I don't say that's the perfect way it should be, it's still abusing animals for personal pleasure in a way but as i say this would be true to riding horses or keeping pets if you really push that viewpoint to the extreme.

anyway, thanks for the explanation. my view isnt radical, im just not into forcing animals to do this just for the fun of some guys.

I'm not sure it is; I'm a veterinary surgeon and I'm trying to apply criteria for animal welfare consideration to this scenario compared to bullfighting and I can't really see the difference.

The only difference I see is the bulls aren't tortured with stab wounds and killed in the end. But it certainly is abusive and cruel, tormenting creatures in the name of pseudo-sport, that haven't any option but to take it and try to defend themselves. We're a simple, vicious animal ourselves, aren't we?

it doesn't matter if there is no physical abuse, the animal is being used for fun and is scared as shit, being surrounded by lots of people screaming, with no other bulls near, being chased, etc etc, it's mental abuse.
Sure the picture is nice, but it's still abuse

I agree with you that to frighten and torment
animals for 'sport' is disrespectful and inhumane (curious word.)
But bullfighting is particularly vicious. I don't know anything
