I think you hit the mark really perfectly right there. He almost resmbles the sprite 1:1 and is clearly recognizeable. I also love the way you did the hair and the shading. ! overall nice work!

I really like the impact that this picture has compared to the original one. The halftone texture really makes the picture pop and gives it a sense of clarity, making the character’s face especially something to focus on. The pixel animation is cute as well; I love the old school 16-bit feel that it has! My only constructive criticism is that it’s a little hard to see against the background of the aforementioned character. xD

I like both versions haha~ The colors on him are really pretty and I love the way you shaded and colored his skin and eyes~ The details in the armor are really good and your pixel sprite animation is really smooth!

reminds me of Melty blood when you are selecting your character(you see a cg full art piece and an animated sprite bas representation. Would make a nice fighting game character I think.^^
