Description Entry for the Stonehenge Dressage event bengalothoroughbred.deviantart…
Entry 002 Jenny Stigley with Havillands Rabble Rouser.
Jenny had been working with Rabble a lot since her own mare Coral was on Maternity leave, pending the birth of her first -and unexpected- foal! Rab belonged to George and was well trained but it had taken Jenny a while to get used to him.
On the day Jenny had been up bright and early to get Rab's flaxen mane into neat plaits, and even had time to help George with Doomy's as well. Rab's chestnut coat shone in the morning sun and stood out amongst the muted greens and greys of the Wiltshire landscape. Rab wasn't just a pretty face, he was an experienced dressage horse and was able to take on the four star competition.
This shoulder in, is an example  of Rab's versatility, since he is really a three day eventer.
Jenny felt strange being away without Gareth, She and George didn't always see eye to eye but they were both making an effort to be nicer to each other. Gareth had made John swear on his Granny's gold earrings that he would look out for Jenny and make sure George didn't do or say anything to upset her.(Gareth is really protective of Jenny) Since all three of them were sharing the big horse box as accommodation, they were thrown together a lot on this trip and had to tolerate each other.
Things did not always go smoothly but it was better than they had all imagined it would be.

Sketched on cartridge paper with a propelling pencil.

Stonehenge Rig from Sketch up's warehouse, resized, fiddled with  and cropped for background elements, coloured and textured in Pixelmator
Massive amounts of artistic licence used with the interior dimensions of Stonehenge, some stones removed for aesthetic reasons. This is not an accurate rendering of the ancient monument, it has been altered for storytelling purposes.
