Description I posted two different edits of this photo, and I can't decide which one looks the best!

This one is the most like my normal editing. It focuses more on the colors than the other one does, but still looks super sweet. I'm looking for honest opinions of which one is preferred, at least for this particular photo. Thank you!

This is NOT a stock photo!

wow, she looks so grown up in these ones.
I prefere this version - the other one kind of looks... lifeless? Well, not really lifeless, but this one just brings out the spring feeling better...

I prefer the muted tones of the other version. The colors pop in this but it seems a little "loud". Still a striking portrait. She's a natural, eh?

A natural, but she's also had a lot of practice, haha. She used to not really care for it, but now she always asks me if we can take some photos. I love it, though!

I understand where you are coming from. After flipping back and forth, I worried that the other one was a little bit too "cool", but I can see how when you compare, the other one looks softer while this one is more bold/busy.

You've used and abused her as a model, have you? Great little model she's become!

Yeah, "bold" is a good description of this one. And probably half the viewers are going to prefer bold. Softer just caught my eye more. It will be interesting to see how many prefer which.

Oh, yes, I definitely have lol. But when she was younger, she didn't pose quite as much and was harder to shoot! Always fun to try, though! She has been my practice child (plus, we are making memories!), but I feel like I'm just about ready to take on another child that I'm not related to. I want to make sure that I do everything right when I take on a client that I have no relationship with. That's important!

Her parents prefer the other one, but I still can't really make a decision .. argh!

Then don't try to choose one over the other.

Use both.

Thank you! I think this one would print better .. but I think I like the other one more for web, maybe just because it's *different* from what I normally do. But if I had to make the choice of which to get printed, pretty sure it would be this one .. it looks the most natural to me, which is what I tend to do.

I would have been so sad if it was. When I'm outside taking pictures, I can hardly see my screen to check for any basic mistakes!

Your comment has been very helpful, thank you so much for your input!
