Taken for photography class.This photo of a swing set combines the effect of vertical and diagonal lines. The diagonal lines (which generally show movement) are the sturdy support for the swings, and the vertical lines (which usually show stability) are the swinging chains. The juxtaposition and inverted meaning of these lines create an uneasy or confused feeling. Also, because the subject (Kelsey) is out of focus the viewer struggles between her and the only chain in focus; consequently enhancing the mixed up feel of this photograph.

I like how everything is blurred out except one chain. But maybe that one should be blurred just a tad.
