You wanted Hetalia... Here you have almost no Hetalia xD Anyway, just did a quick sketchy thing as a parody of the Godfather poster. Don't worry, I have plans with this xD If I ever get to it, there will be a 2nd part - it'll contain more obvious yummy Pruss ;D(By the way, the left ear is not awkwardly big though it seems that way xD It's the chain that goes from the top ear piercing and down to the one in the earlobe.)

It's a good movie - never read the book, though. I'm always surprised how much technology and knowledge they had back in the days. Before 1960, I automatically assume they lived like cavemen, Lol xD. Yeah, I was never good at history.

The book is really cool. If you happen to stuck in the plane/train for a good 7-8 hours that would be a good choice to kill time.

Canada is a bit bigger than Denmark. The trip from Vancouver to Halifax by plane is about 8 hours. The same trip by train is somewhere in b/n 4-5 days.Β Do you feel better now about your country? XDDD

I would say it was fun. Much more fun than to read Dostoevsky or Tolstoy which were part of school program at that time. Russians are weirdos when it goes to reading XDD

Oh God, what a long trip D: Anyway, you can easily get from one end of Denmark to the other in one day and still have time to do loads of shit, BUT the annoying thing is that the DSB's trains and tracks always fuck up.. So a trip that's supposed to take 5 hours can easily take 10 hours - and guess what, even when the train is broken and they use 5 hours to fix it on the hottest day of the entire summer, no, you still aren't allowed to exist the train. Now that's personal experience xD A comedian had some real trouble with them. One time, he was going home late at night, he was alone in the train and suddenly, it stopped and he was like, DID THEY FORGET ME!? Half an hour later, he was informed that this DSB train was in an experiment where they wanted to see if the train could roll from one station to another on its own. Nope, he wasn't allowed to exit. He was stuck for HOURS. Aren't they supposed to tell people this shit before they trap them in a train in the middle of the night?! Another time, he was on his way to a gig. The train stopped just before rolling completely into the station that was his stop. He could jump from the exit to the station - or just take a long step (or just step out of the train - they weren't on a mountain or anything xD No danger). Then they said the train was suddenly unable to go forward so they had to back all the way back to the former station (hours away). Nope, he didn't make it to that gig. Now tell me, would you like a ride on the Danish train of love xD?

I think I was recommended that first guy. My last Danish teacher loved this Russian author and told me to read something of him when I told him I was considering going to uni to study Russian... I should get back to finding this author xD

Ooh I have a story to tell you! Since I usually tell you about me being mean to freshmen. Anyway, I was leaving the school to drive home with my friend yesterday and from this big group of guys heading to the parkinglot we thought we heard 'sup freshmen?'
My friend and I looked at each other. "Did they just call us freshmen?"
"I think so."
"Well, if they did, we're seniors by the by!" Β Says I loud enough for them to hear.
I then proceeded to threaten to slash their cars tires. But the joke is that they looked like sophomores (for who else but the yearlings would address strangers by 'sup freshmen.') and probably drove home in a minivan with their mother.

I just said that because I think it was shot in NJ/NY. Though today gangs aren't run by Italian families, when the immigrants stopped by the third generation children found themselves pretty Americanized and didn't feel the social ties to it. Every ethnicity had a gang at some point, even the booky Chinese ran opium gangs in California. The Italian mafia is so famous because they were recent enough to be depicted in media, were able to become exceptionally organized due to bribeable police officers, and able to make a loooot of money/power off of prohibition. Today I don't think gangs are as organized as in The Godfather.... just a bunch of city drug dealers. Ironically, today most city crime here isn't interracial. Blacks mug blacks, whites rape whites, etc.
Well, I wouldn't blame me talking mean to them on me being from where I am. I think that's just I'm an asshole in that aspect xD. I'm a pretty common suburban grown girl who could be found across the US, and don't carry much of the trademark of Jersey's cities' brand of urban toughness.

I don't think this 'acting macho because of age' is a maturity issue. I think it's just that the American culture attributes more to social hierarchy than the Danish one does, just as the Japanese does more than the American. I'm probably more like this than the average American-- I find it very strange to call my bosses by their first names as I was introduced to them. And if I don't know you but you're younger than me, and you unprovoked address me disrespectfully, I'll serve it right back. Not necessarily a product of the tough thug life of manicured cookie cutter house lawns, just the twisted sense of honor I happened to develop.
I wonder if you'd get immune to it eventually. Must be uncomfortable having to live every day with allergies.Β My father used to have allergies in the spring, but every day as a teenager he took an allergy pill, even if he didn't need it, and says now he just doesn't have them anymore. I guess he had so many allergy pills he turned into one xD
I showed up and they told me the orientation got cancelled. The 'system' wasn't working today so they decided it pointless to teach me anything. But I'm going away on Thursday until Monday down south again to look at some universities, and they can't fit it in before then. So I'll have to wait a whole week and a half before I can start. And I really want to. I just damn need to get out of the house. My parents work from home half the time and someone's almost always there and just their presence sends my nerves through the roof sometimes. I know it's unreasonable. But sometimes I go home, see them, and go right to take a nap (that I don't even need) just because I don't want to deal with them. Which is poisonous because I have a lot of stuff I need to do. I just need alone time after school and.... agh. Every time they approach me it's something I don't want to hear so some primitive part of my brain has associated them with negative reinforcement. I'm furious, and I can't even talk to them because my mother never understands what I'm saying and asks idiotic questions and my dad just doesn't give a damn.
