Well, no pain, no gain as they say.
Any way, love the lighting on this piece. This is where practise really pays off, I suppose. The colours area also quite great. A few drops of red in the eyes are always good to add some extra menace.

I'd say it's been a long 8 years of "oop, that didn't work" and "Hey, that looks great! Now, what did I do to MAKE that happen?" to be able to confidently pull off lighting effects. So it's nice to know people are looking at them when it's all done.

Well, good to hear you know to never give up. I've grown a bit fond of some of some your pictures. I'm also patient so even if you don't know how exactly you made this happen, if this is more of a lightning caught in a bottle, I will be waiting for your future attempts.
