I hope this will be the final deisgn.
For those joining us late, this was designed for the ~ProjectPOW fashion contest. This is the third challenge. I was supposed to deisgn a couture outfit inspired by gatorade.
It's a long knit cotton tube-top shirt, over a green satin minidress with ruffles at the neckline and layers of ruffles at the bottom. She has tight knit fingerless gloves and loose cotton legwarmers, and a knit stretchy hat with a rim (I think they call them "beanies" or somehting).
The gatorade inspiriation should be clear from the sporty look and the color choice. I also chose to make the gradation on her gloves rough to resemble the bubbles gatorade gets when you shake it (like if you're jogging with it in your hand). The varying shades of green in the skirt also came from the way it gets paler as you drink down to the bottom and there's less liquid for the light to go through.
