Description *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

A very different adaptation to the Assassin's Creed characters, this drawing depicts a warrior rather than an Assassin.

Would open war draw out the assassins from the shadows?

On the plain of many-a-war stands a battle-ready knight - a white knight. He is on the war path, and none evil will stand in the path he treads. Like an avenging angel he will scythe through the ranks of the enemy, with precision he bringeth each one to their demise. With lucid, flowing style he fights like one born to the art of War; poetry in lethal, perpetual motion...

I am sorry if I have ruined your conception of the game... but I had to see how an 'armoured assassin' appears to those lucky enough to see one so outfitted.

It is a fantasy brought to life, hopefully, by my sketch. It is your choice whether to accept it or reject it.

Can I ask you something? What's the actual difference bewteen a graphite pencil and a mechanical pencil? Are they those pecils you can refill when they're empty?

Yes. A mechanical pencil looks like a pen. But you just refill it with long thin leads. The leads are pushed through the hole at the end by means of a button etc. This saves sharpening, but gives a harder, sharper look, so not ideal for shading. Ideal for detail. You can refill them with different leads from 9B to 9H or whatever. Even graphite leads I believe!

So a graphite pencil is the most common types of pencil, and is encased in wood. It is made of a mixture of clay and graphite and it's darkness varies from light grey to black. It's composition allows for the smoothest strokes. I've never used a graphite pencil before so I cant tell you much. Hope that helps.

It does it seems you know quite a lot about pencils. Why didn't you use graphite pencils before, if I may ask?

I just haven't gotten round to buying one. Seeing that I only started my drawing career again very recently.
I want to use different shaded leads for my mechanical pencil now.

Amazing idea. and well executed concept.

I love when people take an idea like Assassins Creed and imagine how things might differ if the rules/situation were different or more intense.

I only hope more people follow in this example

beautiful drawing!
the plates are definitely not my strong point but I know it can be hard to draw to appear real, then you have been very good.

More designs become more clever, I do not use any technique in particular and only recently do realistic drawings, just use more than a pencil and just think of the quality of the paper.
Looking at the work of real artists here on DA will improve for sure. For now I'm not even a decent designer, but improve my work and hope you can do the same.

So if you need help ask as well, a great artist told me recently that DA need to exchange experiences and I agree.

However, excuse my english, I'm a self-taught even in this.
