Description
Software used: Apophysis Several ideas lurk behind this artwork, somehow tangled together. During my 11+ years of being on DA I must have casually mentioned several times that I'm pansexual but since I did no "official coming out" thing, I suppose this will be news to many of you. This year DA is promoting Pride month, so I figured I'd contribute with love themed artwork

At the beginning it seems to be a flower blooming completely forwards instead of outwards, with the blue and purple glows seeming to shift out everything and the petals curling in everything; giving the forward appearance. The colors are beautiful and vibrant, contrasting the darkness, but some of the outside seems overly blurred. The blue and purple glows pressed close together in the middle have the feeling of eyes, making the work look like it's spreading out its arms from the base of a creature. Overall the work is very lovely and vibrant, but the blur of colors makes it hard to last in my eyes. Your work is beautiful, so please do continue to take my breath away.

I'm fairly open about my sexuality online, but I just don't see the point in rubbing the rainbow in everyone's face like many people do. Also, I tend to not care what other people think of me. I can see what you mean, though.
