Description
Elementals are extremely territorial and powerful due to thier natural creation in the wilderness, however they are extremely rare. The reason for this is because it requires a natural source pure magical energy. Most who try to hunt these creatures usually end up dead, but if one were to defeat one they leave behind attribute crsytal which are vauable for weponary, armors, and magic catalysts.they are listed form left to right.
First Row: Light, Shadow, Water
Second Row: Wind, Earth, Fire
Third Row:Lightning, Nature, Cosmic
Last Row: Sound, Nether, Astra
and for those who want to know:
Light~ deals with holy and healing
Shadow~ deals with infernal and destruction
Water~ deals with water and ice
Fire~ deals with fire and magma
Wind~ deals with air and aero
Earth~ deals with stone and gravity
Lightning~ deals with electric and magnetism
Sound~ deals with sonics and vibrations
Nature~ deals with plants, poisons, and roots
Cosmic~ deals with the manipulation of space and time
Nether~ necromancy and blood magic
Astra~ Mental and kinetic enegry

First, beautiful artwork!
Expanding on the questions / ideas by Bysthedragon , I wonder about a couple more things:
#1.1 If the element is to have infernal association and (likely) serve as an opposite to "Holy", why is it called "Shadow" instead of "Infernal"βor, even better, why not "Demonic"? After all, infernal lore tends to be associated with fire as much if not more than with shadow / darkness, and the fire association is there even when there are also other associations. In contrast, demonic lore doesn't necessarily evoke fire, though there are such cases as well.
#1.2 If you insist that "Shadow" should entail infernal association despite the point above, why is the element called "Shadow" instead of "Darkness"? After all, darkness subsumes shadow in basically any interpretation.
#1.3 I'm still not clear why destruction would be associated with "Shadow" more so than any other element; your argument literally justifies corruption instead of destruction, and the former doesn't necessarily lead to the latter.
#2 Given that you can choose to omit certain associations, I would probably skip the mention of gravity under "Earth". Yes, gravity is related to object's mass (and mass should be mentioned under Earth), but it's also a curvature in space-time. If you mention it under either "Cosmic" or "Earth" as you do now, one can and already did raise an equally compelling argument to include it under the other one. However, we can simply imagine the manipulation of gravityβin different ways, and with different limitations and implicationsβwith either element even if there is no mention thereof.
#3 Given that focus of "Sound" is on vibrations in different mediums, why not simply call it "Vibration"?

- holy meaning divine, in which in most contexts means scarred, blessed, sanctity.
-shadow is more destructive because of its nature to corrupt, or stain those exposed to it, you need to have a will of titanium to resist the corruption.
-Aero is Atmosphere, atmosphere is any gaseous envelope or medium. i split it from air sense it can also relate to poisonous, and other relate gases.
-Cosmic in this sense deals in dimensions beyond matter, yes i was aware of gravity in that regard, but i gave it to earth because of its dealing gravity is proportional mass
-they are alike but different in regards Sonics are vocal and pass though the medium of Air, where as vibration pass though solid and liquid forms.
-not all plants have roots, like Mushrooms, moss, liverworts, algae, seaweed don't have roots, i included roots as well because roots are strong and structural foundations for other plants, that even if a leaves and stems wither so long as the roots remain, then things can regrow, they also can be brewed into remedies and cures NOTE: most cures are made from poisons to fight other poisons, which sounds crazy but it has been done.
-AND yes you are correct, however wanted a particular name for the element so i took Astra as from the astral plane to emphasize the connection to there in with the mind, but yes it is basically Psionic.

-I tend to think there is a separation between the term Shadow and Dark. Shadow refers to the physical contrast or absence of light, and is passive in nature. Dark can mean the same thing as in "It is dark in this cave." but it can also mean: Creepy, Evil, Wicked. That is way in Japan Dark type Pokemon are called "Aku" which means Evil, but in America they switched it to Dark because they didn't want to call it "Evil type"

while it is true fungi is closer to animals than plants people usually include it in plants because of previous mythoogies and elements grouping them together. It's kinda like how people always group magma or lava with fire even though it would technically be earth ue to just being liquid rock and minerals.

Although it's kinda weird that sound and air are separate even though lightning and magnetism are put under the same element. I mean if we are going by the logic of the first one sound should be categorized with it, but if we go by the second one's logic magnetism should be separate. It doesn't really matter I guess that'sΒ just me being nitpicky and doesn'tΒ ruin my overall enjoyment of this interpretation of elements. Also if water deals with water AND ice wouldn't magma be under earth due to them both being water and earth respectively, but I guess earth already has gravity anyway so it doesn't really matter.

It all depends on what you want to do with them. Do water and ice fall into the same category because they are both just H2O in different forms or do you want to categorize them separately because they have different behaviors

Cosmos is not an element the element is the void and it controls time,existence and non existence witch are the elements you are referring to by cosmos and I know that existence and non existence is unorthodox but it is the right term
PS:it also pairs well with its more destructive cousin,darkness.

well cosmic power is the something that can space & time. Thus existence and non existence fall into these categories.
Space is something to deals with multiple planes, like material, spiritual, and void.
Material is the physical world
spiritual is the afterlife for the soul
Void is empty space non-existence, usually seen as a full black or white and can be seen a light or darkness, its all in ones perception.
Time relates to existence, in fact that it stands as a unit of measure.
Β -for instance film a car moving by, then speed it up indefinitely. it disappears, what proof do we have it existed? Time, time gives legitimacy to its existence, time is the only unit of measure that proves the existence of matter. without time there is no existence.-
then two mix and lead into multiverses, dimensions, or alternate timelines.Β
cosmic tends to break the rules of nature, thus that's its counter element.
but cosmic tends to be very versatile because it can be used with pretty much any other element, but yes mostly darkness. Β

These elements are so bad ass, they look super cool, can elements like these be used for good and as for one of the elements like the shadow one, a villain can use the shadow element for infernal and destruction, right?

elements can be used for either good or evil actually, it depends on the person.
Though the infernal and destruction does normally contend with evil, there are those who can use it but also must fight theirΒ
inner darkness as to not to be possessed by the power, those that can resist the dark influence can utilize the power without
being a danger to others, however some look down upon those that do, sense most tend to become corrupted.
same can go for a light user, if they are blinded by their beliefs or become too self righteous, their actions can beΒ
equal to that of a villains, but on the side of the light. for example a "heretic" speaks out against a holy knight and
bad mouths their religion, the knight would send his own judgement down upon them, whether it be a light punishment
or a sentence of death.
It all comes down to the person, and their character, i see nothing as straight up light is good and darkness is evil.
for instance Johnny Blaze, the Ghost rider -"This power that we have comes from a dark place, but it's not who we are. And we can use it to help people."Β
and my own quote form one of my characters - "Because sometimes you need someone willing to step into the darkness, to lead others out of it."

Is it possible that the elements can be fought and after defeated they turn to genuine diamond crystals and can be worn to use the elements in a good way when worn like a necklace?

yes, they can even be imbued into weapons, armor, and items. it doesn't matter what material you add them to, except their opposing element. but defeating one is another story... but the reward is an elemental crystal.
