" A little while ago, Nyueki hime stumbled apon a weird chess board and played against a friend.....being the not so bright girl that she is, Nyu lost and the chess board cursed her, shrinking her down and turning her into a chess peice while her victorious friend got to walk away with her memory of Nyu's existance wiped away clean. Eventually Hadiko stumbled apon the chess set too and played against Sinoko and lost, but Sinoko was cheating to win so the cursed board took both of them where they found they're lost friend Nyueki having taken the role of queen and taking royal command of her new knight Madam Hadiko and the worthless pawn Sinoko. When someone playing they're side finally wins, the girls can go free, but until that happens they have to wait in contempt in the loser cournerowns Nyueki hime, Hadiko, and Sinoko.

Sinoko seems fairly blocky for a pawn, but I like that aspect done with it for rooking. They'd better be careful or else they'll end up with nothing but a full chess set, and we all know what their fate will be when that happens~

You didn't get the idea of "shrinking her down and turning her into a chess peice while her victorious friend got to walk away with her memory of Nyu's existence wiped away clean" from the current story arc of the Manga series One Piece? (which in the current storyarc there is a villain character who can turn people into living toys, like stuffed dolls and wooden horses etc..., as part of a slave work force. With an additional side effect that causes everyone forgets that person ever existed.)
That is a heck of a coincidence if you came up with it independently!

whats the name of the character, who's been turned into stuff and is it just in the manga so far or has the anime of this been done?

The character's name is Sugar, and she's a member of Don Quixote Doflamingo's crew. I'm pretty sure the anime isn't that far along, but I can't say for sure since I don't watch it. The stuff with Sugar has largely been shown over the last few months of the manga (which I've been reading in the English edition of Weekly Shonen Jump). I believe the arc is called 'Dressrosa Arc'.
